Battery Services

One of the most common issues with electric golf carts is battery problems. Whether your batteries aren’t holding a charge or are failing to power your cart adequately, battery service is crucial for maintaining peak performance. Lead-acid batteries, the standard system in most electric golf carts, often need to be replaced every two to three years, depending on how often the cart is driven and recharged.

Aberdeen EV Repair has a team of technicians just for battery service – whether its replacing your old batteries with a new set, or charging the batteries in your cart when their charge is too low to take a regular charge, or even taking the cart to one of our service locations to upgrade the lead-acid battery system to a lithium battery system, we can provide all of it. Replacing your golf cart battery system with a lithium battery system is also available at our service locations. Benefits of switching to a lithium battery include increased driving time, a much longer lifespan, faster charging time, no maintenance, and less weight on the golf cart.

Tire Services

Our tire services go beyond simple flat tire changes. Not only can we swiftly and affordably replace flat or worn out tires, we can also install tires with custom rims up to 14 inches, as well as put a tire onto an already existing rim. If you have custom rims on your cart and need to replace a tire, you can rest assured that you will be able to keep your original rim. We also sell standard 18×8.5×8 golf cart tires, new and used, along with new tires with custom rims in various sizes – both smooth for standard carts, and bumpy for lifted carts.

Body Work

Just like any other vehicle, golf carts can sustain body damage from accidents, wear and tear, or environmental factors. Whether you have a small dent that needs to be fixed or you want to completely revamp the look of your cart, a skilled bodywork specialist can help. From dent repair to repainting, there are plenty of options available to keep your golf cart looking its best.

Customizations

If you’re more interested in changing the look of your golf cart, such as with a custom paint job, specialty wheels, color changing LED lighting, or a lift kit, we can provide it at our service center. A popular paint job for our America EV California Roadster and 39 Roadster carts is the hood flames, or wood-patterned sides. Other options are available for various brands of carts.

Accessory Installation

We also have a golf cart parts and accessories website, Prime Cart Parts, which offers a variety of accessories and replacement parts, from side nerf bars, front baskets, and rain enclosures, to replacement keys, steering boxes, motor controllers, and headlights. For customers in south Florida, many of our parts can be ordered from Prime Cart Parts, and brought along with your golf cart to one of our service centers for installation. Other accessory upgrades include Bluetooth radio and backup camera.

Street Legality

We can add all necessary features to make your golf cart a street legal low speed vehicle (LSV). These include headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals, horn, side mirrors, windshield, and more. Once all these accessories are installed, you can then take your cart to the DMV and have it registered as a street legal LSV. With a tag and title, you can then drive on public roads with a speed limit of 35mph or less.
